The following recipe is the best way to enjoy Panettone, a quick and easy dessert that will impress your dinner guests!
Ingredients
- 1 Panettone
- 2 free range egg yolks
- 2tbsp caster sugar
- 200g Mascarpone cheese
- 60ml Brandy
- 100ml whipped cream
- 20g dark chocolate, grated
- mixed berries to garnish
Directions
- Using an electric mixer, beat the egg yolks and sugar until thick and creamy.
- Add mascarpone and Brandy and mix until combined.
- Whip the cream and fold into the Mascarpone mixture.
- Slice your Panettone. Warm up the slices in the oven or microwave (but not too much or they will dry up).
- Place a slice in each plate, spoon some Mascarpone Brandy cream on it, dust with dark chocolate and garnish with fresh berries.
