Ingredients

  • 425 g pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (400 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crust

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 220 C.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin, condensed milk, eggs, spices and salt, until smooth.
  3. Pour into crust and bake 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 180 C and continue baking for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from crust comes out clean. Cool.
  5. Garnish as desired and enjoy with whipped cream.
