Who says that it has to be Halloween to enjoy a delicious pumpkin pie?
Ingredients
- 425 g pumpkin puree
- 1 can (400 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (9 inch) pie crust
Directions
- Preheat oven to 220 C.
- In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin, condensed milk, eggs, spices and salt, until smooth.
- Pour into crust and bake 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 180 C and continue baking for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from crust comes out clean. Cool.
- Garnish as desired and enjoy with whipped cream.
