• 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tbsp freshly ground black pepper, plus more for seasoning
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley leaves, spring onions, chives, or coriander
  • 2 bone-in pork loin rib chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  1. Finely chop garlic cloves and place them in a bowl. Add honey, water, apple cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
  2. Coarsely chop fresh parsley leaves.
  3. Pat dry the pork chops and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet on a medium-high heat.
  5. Add the pork chops and sear until deep golden brown, about four minutes per side.
  6. Transfer the pork chops to a cutting board.
  7. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Scrape the honey garlic mixture into the pan and cook for 5 minutes until it looks glazed.
  8. Taste and season with salt.
  9. Return the chops back to pan and spoon some of the glaze over the chops.
  10. Transfer to a serving plate, spoon the glaze over the chops and garnish with chopped parsley.
