Cooking Instructions

Find all the cooking instructions you need for our frozen foods below.

Cooking instructions: Spread out on a baking tray, and then leave to defrost and ‘prove’ overnight at room temperature. Egg-wash, and bake in the oven at 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 until golden brown (approximately 8-10 minutes). Best eaten warm.

Cooking instructions: Prove for 1 hour 45 minutes. Bake for approximately 17 minutes at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.

Cooking instructions:

Deep fry: Hot fat (180°C/350°F) for 3-4 minutes. Drain well.

Bake: Pre-heat oven to 230°C/425°F/Gas Mark 8. 16-18 minutes, Place in a single layer on a baking tray.

Grill: Pre-heat medium grill, place in single layer on base of grill pan for 12-14 minutes, turning occasionally. Appliances may vary. Always check product is piping hot throughout before serving.

Cooking instructions: Californian Sundae. Sprinkle with Grand Marnier or orange juice and allow to defrost. Fill sundae glasses with layers of fruit and Greek yoghurt or fromage frais.

Cook from frozen.

Oven: Pre-heat oven to (200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6). Cook for 33-35 minutes.

Place on a baking tray and defrost for around 30 minutes at room temperature. Oven cook for 18-22 minutes at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 until pastry is cooked.

Cook from frozen.

Place on a baking tray and oven cook for approximately 15 minutes at 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 until pastry is cooked.

Pre-heat the oven to 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7 and place the tray in the middle of the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Spread out on a baking tray, bake in the oven at 160°C/325°F/Gas Mark 3 for 15 to 20 minutes, leave to cool for a moment. Best eaten warm.

Deep fry: Hot oil (180°C/350°F) for 4-5 minutes.

Shallow fry: Medium heat for 6-7 minutes.

Grill: 6-10 minutes.

Heat in an oven at 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7 for 12 minutes, or fry for 4 minutes at 180°C.

Frying Pan: Heat some oil or butter. Put the product in the frying pan as soon as the oil is hot, or the butter is melted, Add salt and spices to your preference. Fry the product for 10-15 minutes at average temperature until golden/yellow and crispy. Turn regularly.

Oven: Pre-heat the oven to 220°C/428°F/Gas Mark 5. Spread the preferred quantity evenly on a baking tray (preferably on baking paper). Place the tray in the middle of the oven. Bake the product for about 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile turn them until golden yellow and crispy.

Deep fry: In pre-heated oil at 180°C for 7-9 minutes. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Grill: Pre-heat grill to medium. Place product on grill pan and cook for 12-14 minutes turning once.

For best results deep fry from frozen in pre-heated oil at 180°C for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.

Simmer gently in 1” of lightly salted water with a sprig of fresh mint, until just tender. Do not over cook. Drain and serve with a knob of butter and garnished with mint. Or microwave from frozen with a knob of butter. Stir from time to time.

Bake in a pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes at 230°C/450°F/Gas Mark 8, turning occasionally.

Serving Suggestions: Layer frozen product in a pie dish with fried onion etc to taste. Pour over an egg beaten with a little milk or cream, top with grated cheese. Can be used for the topping on a Lancashire hotpot. Alternatively use as a meal accompaniment.

Shallow Fry: Heat some oil or butter in a frying pan and cook the wedges for about 10-15 minutes turning regularly until golden yellow and crispy.

Oven: Pre-heat oven to 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7. Cook on a baking tray in the centre of the oven for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden yellow and crispy.

Deep Fry: Pre-heat the oil to 175°C/347°F, cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden yellow and crispy.

Oven: Pre-heat the oven at 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7. Spread the preferred quantity evenly on a baking tray (preferably on baking paper). Place the tray in the middle of the oven. Bake the product for about 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile turn them until golden orange and crispy.

Deep Fry: Pre-heat frying oil to 175°C. fry not too small quantities (min. 500g) for about 2 ½ – 3 minutes until golden orange and crispy.

Spread the frozen vegetables on a shallow roasting tray, add crushed garlic, salt and drips of olive oil. Roast on the top shelf of a very hot oven for 8-12 minutes.

Cook from frozen.

Place the contents of the pack in a heavy based frying pan or wok. Add 2 tablespoons of water. Stir-fry for 2 minutes on a high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and stir-fry for 8-10 minutes.

Spread out on a baking tray, bake in the oven at 160°C/325°F/Gas Mark 3 for 15 to 20 minutes, leave to cool for a moment. Best eaten warm.

Place on a baking tray in a pre-heated oven (200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6) for 5 minutes.
