About Us

With farming histories spanning four generations, Farmer Jack’s Shop was a natural progression for the owners. Since 2005, they have provided a setting where Island residents and visitors can come to hand-select the delicious produce grown on their farms.

Story

First of all, the shop opened as a partnership between Brown and Pearce farming families. As they shared the common aim of providing quality produce. As well as reducing food miles and supporting the many farmers and food suppliers on the Isle of Wight.

In 2010, the shop was relocated to its own purpose-built site. As a result, this enabled the team to expand on their offering. They provide customers with not just produce grown on the family farm, but also wonderfully appetising food from local and regional suppliers. 

Today, their farms produce delicious seasonal treats. Including asparagus in the Spring, sweetcorn in the Summer, pumpkins and squash in the Autumn. Also, a year-round supply of cauliflower, kale and broccoli. 

With a passion for farming and a love of good, honest food, Farmer Jack’s and their team are proud to have created a shopping experience that continues to grow and evolve. Thanks to the support they receive from loyal customers.

Head Butcher Paul is the friendly face you’ll see when you head to Farmer Jack’s Butchery. With 40 years of experience. (As well as a twinkling eye and a jaunty hat.) Paul is perfectly placed to help you select the ideal cut for your meal. And furthermore, his mouth-watering sausage recipes are second to none!
