Seville Oranges in Season

13 Jan 2012

Category: seasonal specials

January is the peak season for Spanish Seville oranges - the best for making marmalade.  We've got lots of lovely Sevilla oranges in the shop if you want to make your own marmalade.  Its much nicer than shop-bought marmalade, and will fill the house with a fantastic citrus scent.

To make bitter-sweet marmalade, you will need a big pan, plus seville oranges, lemons, sugar and water.  You can add other citrus fruits to make different taste blends.
