Best Isle of Wight Sausage Competition 2010 - November 18th @ The Dairymans Daughter

Come and join us in our search for The Best Isle of Wight Sausage 2010. The competition which is now in its sixth year is free to enter and is open to butchers, food producers and the public alike. Competitors own made sausages will be judged both raw and cooked, there will be two classes, plain pork and alternative.

The winner of the plain pork category last year was Steve Doe who is now Farmer Jacks in-house butcher, he will be defending his title this year. The winner of the alternative category 2009 was Sue Brownrigg with her chicken lemon and thyme sausage and she was also the overall winner of the competition.

This years competition is to take place in the Dairymans Daughter at Arreton Old Village on Thursday the 18th of November starting around 7.30pm with judging at 8.00pm.
