Round the Island Picnic

Good luck to the 1700 boats and 16000 sailors in the annual Round the Island Race which starts in Cowes on Saturday morning.  The boats are going to have a windy 50 miles to sail, but the sun should come out in the afternoon, so come on out and watch the boats!

How about a nice Kemphill Farm beef steak - rump or ribeye are always tasty, or sirloin for a special day, and the most tender is fillet.  Our steak is dry aged, making it more flavoursome and tender than cheap meats.  It also won't shrink during cooking, so what you pay for is what you get to eat!

The Queen Enjoys Our Asparagus!

Farmer Jacks is delighted that yet again Isle of Wight asparagus grown by the Brown family has been enjoyed at a Royal banquet.  On Tuesday the Queen and 700 guests in the Westminster Hall enjoyed the best of British fare, including our own asparagus served grilled with Welsh lamb and Jersey Royal potatoes.
