Come and watch the judging and test some great bangers at the annual Isle of Wight Sausage Competition in the Dairyman's Daughter pub, Arreton Old Village on Thursday 15 November from 7.30pm.

The competition is free to enter, and entries are welcome from butchers, chefs and home cooks.  If you think you make a mean sausage, then why not test it against the Island's best?  Collect an entry form from Farmer Jack's farm shop, or email hello@farmerjacks.co.uk.  We can even supply sausage skins if you need them.

The judges are looking for two types of sausage; pork, and other meat.  You'll need to enter a pound (lb) of cooked and a pound (lb) of raw of each type of sausage - separately wrapped and clearly labelled.  Pork and garlic, rabbit and thyme, chicken and lemon, venison and chocolate, beef and chilli - whatever you think will work will be blind judged by our panel of banger fans.

After the judging and presentation of the prizes, there will be ample opportunity to sample the delights of the Dairyman's Daughter bar, so youi can make a night of it!
