IoW Sweetcorn Fair

24 September to 25 September 2011

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September, 10am to 5pm daily

Arreton Old Village - plenty of free parking on site

The annual Isle of Wight Sweetcorn Fayre celebrates the sweetcorn harvest, and everything that is good about the Island. Meet 'Bob the Cob', taste barbecue sweetcorn and sweetcorn chowder.  Have a go with the sweetcorn eating competition - can you beat last year's 19.6 second record??   While you are with us, try to get through the Maize Maze for the full sweetcorn experience!

Lots of stallholders with local goodies to eat and gifts to buy, and visit the Arreton Old Village craftsmen.  The Dairyman's Daughter will be hosting a beer festival, and will have a full menu of delicious dishes for lunch and dinner.

Entry donation £2.50 per person, children aged under 11 free.  Includes entry to the Maize Maze for only 50p. Donation to Earl Mountbatten Hospice and Lions.
